$700m Outdoor Shopping Mall and Data Centre focused GP

A mandate for a Houston based Commercial Real Estate Manager, wanting to diversify from their Accredited investor base. The need was for someone to guide the firm into the fund model, whilst also repositioning the GP to market for Institutional & Family LP’s. 

10 resumes submitted, all candidates had the experience in helping a prior employer in scaling up with many of these having the experience in helping to move from a syndication to fund model

$2bln multifamily, hospitality, office, mixed-use retail, and land GP

A mandate to help a Dallas based Vertically-integrated, investment and operating company help grow their capital raising team, with multiple hires. The need was to source FINRA licensed fundraising professionals to grow their accredited investor base, with hires across the US.

To date, 3 people have been hired, enabling a wider and deeper geographical reach

$350m Real Assets fund

A mandate to help a Californian based Farming fund. As they had recently transitioned to the fund model. Their requirement was to diversify the LP base, by moving away from a High Net Worth Investor base, and to attract larger tickets from a more sophisticated LP base.

After a robust search, a hire was made from multiple introductions of people who have prior experience of the above.

A mandate for an ESG focussed firm, within the affordable housing sector. With a new syndicated investment vehicle formed, the requirement was to find an experienced Capital Raising professional to raise capital from retail intermediary channels

Within our network, we were able to source a local profile, with experience in raising capital from leading names in the market.

$1bln Industrial triple-net GP

A mandate for a niche Industrial GP, based in Dallas, looking for a senior Fundraising professional.

As part of aggressive growth plans, the requirement was to hire someone to grow their Family Office reach on top of their High Net Worth investor base, with the aim of targeting larger fund closes

Following on from a comprehensive search process, the person who joined had experience in raising capital for well known names in the market, and had successfully build (and sold) an Investment Advisory and Wealth Management firm, and had many years of experience of developing their Family Office network.

Vice President

$2.3bln Industrial fund

A mandate for an industrial Real Estate, based in Southern California. The requirement was to hire someone to be based onsite who has Real Estate knowledge to service US & international Institutional allocators, but also work with the Head of Investor relations to develop the High Net Worth & Family Office LP base.

Given the niche requirement of the role – and not finding suitable local profiles, we were successful in finding an Investor Relations professional with experience in public and private markets (inc Real Estate), who was looking to move to LA.

$59bln Real Estate Debt & Equity Fund

A mandate for a large Institutional GP, looking to grow their Investor Relations team, based in Switzerland. The requirement was to service the European and DACH LP base, and as such, the need for an experienced German & English speaking Capital Raising professional was required.

The successful hire was German national, sourced from a large Investment Managers Real Estate Capital Formation team in London. In this process, we also secured 2 other offers of employment in Switzerland.
